Start in a standard push-up position, then walk your hands backward toward your waist. The more you lean forward, the harder it gets. Your forearms should lean forward and your shoulders should be over or beyond your hands. This exercise builds the straight-arm strength needed for planche. Don't rush—it's demanding on the biceps tendons. Progress gradually by increasing the lean.
