Stand facing a wall, place your hands on the floor about a foot from the wall, and walk your feet up the wall until your body is inverted. Keep your core braced, shoulders packed, and body straight. This is the safest way to learn handstand alignment. Build up to 30-60 seconds holds. This builds the shoulder strength and body control needed for freestanding handstands.
