Supraspinatus is the most commonly injured rotator cuff muscle. It initiates arm elevation—the first 15 degrees of abduction. It stabilizes the shoulder in every overhead position. Weakness here leads to impingement. Strengthen it with Y-raises, prone external rotations, and band work. It's small, but it controls whether your shoulder functions properly. Train it regularly to protect your shoulders.
