From a side-lying position, prop yourself up on your forearm or hand, lifting your hips into a straight line from head to feet. Keep your core braced and your neck in line with your spine. This is one of the best exercises for building oblique strength and hip stability. Start with 20-second holds and build up. Once you can hold it for 60 seconds on each side, you'll feel the difference in your rotational control.
