Place your hands on parallel bars (or rings) and lift your body until your arms are straight. Keep your shoulders packed down, core braced, and legs straight. This is the starting position for dips and a prerequisite for L-sits on bars. Hold it with control. Build up to 30-60 seconds. If you can't hold it, regress by using your legs for support. Strong support holds build the shoulder stability and triceps endurance needed for advanced work.
